1. Overview of Off-grid New Energy Communication Base Station System

PV off grid communication base station system is composed of PV module array, PV controller, control cabinet, battery, bracket, cable and other equipment. According to the environment of the base station, wind turbine, high frequency switching power supply, diesel generator or utility power can be selected to ensure the power supply and operation of the base station in extreme weather.

 

2. Application Scope of Off-grid New Energy Communication Base Station System

According to the characteristics and types of base stations in remote areas, the power supply mode is divided into the following types:

(1) Solar power only. Only solar array is used for load power supply, which is mainly used in remote areas without power supply, such as mountain areas and islands. This base station requires a large output power of solar array, which can meet various weather changes.

(2) Solar power supply is the main and equipped with high-frequency switching power supply mode. In this way, the security level of power supply is high. Generally, it is equipped with diesel generator as standby power supply, which is suitable for very important base stations.

(3) Wind and solar hybrid power system. It is mainly used in areas with good wind and solar energy resources and poor power supply. Wind and solar energy supply power to the base station load at the same time or separately, so as to improve the reliability of power supply.
